Zone Diet Product Review and Give Away– #zone123

I love carbs. Pasta, pizza, bread, cookies, those are the foods that I would eat, and eat, and eat. I’m sure you know as well as I do, that when you eat carbs you get those ‘crashes’ and you feel hungry long before you know you should, which causes us to eat more. But what’s a girl to do when 90% of what she loves to eat is carb based? www.zonediet.com that’s what!

The new Zone Foods that are available, come in an infinite variety to help you create meals and snacks that give you those “carb” foods, but instead they’re packed full of protein, to keep your body fueled for longer periods of time. And that makes losing weight as easy as 1-2-3.

A new breakthrough in baking technology lets you eat the carb foods you love, without the weight gain that most of us experience when we eat them. These Zone Foods taste really good, just like your regular brands. I found that I was eating far less in a day when hitting up the Zone Foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I just wasn’t hungry or craving snack foods. There’s a lot more science to the Zone Diet and I’ll let you read about that on their website – but I want to focus in this review on the fact that these foods don’t taste like cardboard and they aren’t miniscule portions either.

The first thing I ate from the foods I was sent was the Cinnamon Bread.

It’s quite a bit denser than your average slice of white bread. I toasted it up, but a bit of margarine on it, and quite honestly thought that in a couple of hours I’d be hungry again. But with 14 grams of protein, it was long past lunch time when I looked at the clock, and surprise! my stomach wasn’t caving in on itself looking for fuel. While it was great on its own, I can imagine that there would be many other things I could do with this! The bread slices also come in multigrain and white varieties.

Then there is the granola.

It comes in original and peanut butter. With all the great foods I got to try out from the Zone 1-2-3 Standard Program, I do think the original granola is my favorite. I ate it both plain and with some almond milk, but I enjoyed just snacking on it best.

Cookies anyone?

This is the Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookie. It is BIG. In diameter and in density.

It’s full of chocolate chips and it’s chewy, and it was my lunch the other day, LOL!

If I had to stress anything about the Zone Diet foods it is that they really curb the appetite. I can eat a bagel for breakfast, a package of the granola for lunch, and the orzo pasta for supper and not feel hungry or deprived all day. It’s so easy to keep a low calorie diet and not have to watch the clock to see when you can eat again or feel fatigued. And you don’t have to give up the foods you enjoy most.  There are so many options, you don’t have to eat the same thing every day.

If you’ve been looking to start a diet plan that has great flexibility the Zone 1-2-3 Program might benefit you.
