As is the case with most of the VeggieTales stories, Big Idea Productions has combined humor with moral values, teaching our children a lesson using the classic Christmas song “The Little Drummer Boy” as inspiration.

If you watched the trailer you can see how ‘pop culture’ is fit into the film (LOVED the Star Wars references!) keeping it lighthearted without taking away from the message the story itself conveys.

Every year we listen to the original Christmas VeggieTales DVD while we trim our tree – now we have another VeggieTales Christmas CD to pop in the player while we complete our Christmas decorating.  Our whole family enjoys listening to the songs and singing along to them.
