It just takes a few minutes to create sweet moments, and family time gets even sweeter when these ooey, gooey S’mores Treats are being made.
2 Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars (1.55 oz each)
1 teaspoon shortening
12 large marshmallows
¼ cup graham cracker crumbs
12 mini cupcake liners
Place the cupcake liners on a platter. Unwrap chocolate and break into pieces.
Put the chocolate and shortening in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on medium (50% power) heat for 1 minute and then stir. If you need to melt the chocolate more, heat on medium for an additional 10 seconds at a time, stirring after each time. Continue to do this until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
One at a time, dip ¼ to ½ of each marshmallow into the melted chocolate and shake off the excess. Immediately dip the chocolate portion of the marshmallow into the graham cracker crumbs.
Place the uncoated side into a mini cupcake liner. Repeat with each marshmallow. Refrigerate minimum 5 minutes. Store in a cool, dry place (we just left ours in the fridge until they were eaten).
