It’s summer, you’re hot; you want a cocktail but…you’re watching your weight. What’s a girl to do? Well you could whip up a pitcher of the limited-edition Crystal Light Mocktails. Or better yet you could make some Mocktail Pops for an even cooler treat.

Crystal Light Mocktails are just 5 calories per serving and available for a limited time (as of today just 65 more days!). They come in Margarita, Mojito and Appletini flavors. I have not yet been able to find them in any stores close to me – to see a list of chains that are selling these summer flavors visit http://on.fb.me/j047uI.
I whipped up some Raspberry Appletini Mocktail Pops in just a couple of minutes. Of course then I had to wait HOURS for them to freeze…sigh…
Just mix up your pitcher of Crystal Light Appletini,
pour just halfway into the popsicle mold

add a few raspberries

fill to the top with the Appletini beverage, cap off and freeze.

So while I waited…I drank the Appletini…(I don’t have a martini glass so a margarita glass had to do!). It gives a real sweet but tangy apple ‘punch’ and I found it even ends off dry much like a martini tends to.

I have to admit I was a little put off by the color at first – it is so GREEN. It screamed Kool-Aid to me as soon as I started adding the water. Your kids will want to try it based on the color alone, good thing it’s a mocktail if they try and snag a sip of yours

I love the popsicle idea! I'll have to look for that in our stores.
I agree. The color screams "kids". I love the popsicle idea. brennersmom

I didn't even think of Kool-aid until you said it!
