I try to meal plan I really do, but some weeks go better than others. Okay, okay if I’m going to be honest, most weeks I start and my meal planning maybe gets up to Wednesday if I’m really lucky Thursday. That leaves for a lot of unplanned meals in a week. Having my pantry and freezer stocked with items from Sam’s Club helps.
If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time, you’ll know that when it comes to food, I like easy. That doesn’t mean I want to sacrifice taste, it just means I like short cuts. Using some prepared items will often cut down on prep time, so when I don’t have a meal plan I can still get a tasty, satisfying meal on the table in less than 30 minutes.
You know what else I like? Demos at Sam’s Club. It’s a great way to try products I’ve never purchased before and for getting ideas on quick, easy meals for my family. Being able to taste food items before you buy it in bulk allows us to save money by not purchasing it if we don’t like it, but also lets us find new favorites that we possibly would never have bought had we not tried it.
I’m always on the lookout for things that make my life simpler and allow us to stretch our dollar just a bit more. (Here’s a little PSA if you’ve never noticed before, when Sam’s is clearing something out the price ends in 1¢. If it’s something you like be sure to snag as much as you want because chances are you won’t find it on your next shopping trip!)
So this past week as part of a #cbias campaign we headed out to Sam’s Club and I bought a few things to have in the pantry and freezer so that I could whip up a Quick ‘N’ Easy Chicken Parmesan Recipe. The items were, a 3lb bag of Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips, a case of Hunts’s Tomato Sauce and a 6 lb box of Daily Chef Spaghetti. Then I also used some Parmesan and mozzarella cheese I already had at home.

Quick ‘N’ Easy Chicken Parmesan Recipe
Feeds 4
Ingredients
8 Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips
1 3/4 cups of Hunt’s Tomato Sauce (divided into 1 cup and 3/4 cup portions)
1/2 cup of shredded Mozarella Cheese
1/4 cup of shredded Parmesan Cheese
12 oz. of dry Daily Chef Spaghetti, and then cooked and drained
Directions
Prepare the chicken strips according to package directions. When they are done, top them with 1 cup of tomato sauce, the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses (feel free to use more than the amount listed in the ingredients). Return to oven until cheeses are bubbling and just starting to turn brown.
Halfway during the baking time of the Chicken Strips, cook the spaghetti, drain. Heat the 3/4 cup portion of the sauce and add it to the cooked noodles.
Serve the Chicken Parmesan Strips on top of the noodles.

5 ingredients, 30 minutes from stovetop/oven to table. What an easy and tasty meal for busy parents!
Sam’s Club is having a demo of this at stores using the Tyson Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Patties on September 19th, so if you have a Sam’s Club in your city, head out to try it and then maybe buy the ingredients to make it at home.
They’re also having #SamsDemos for Italian Fish & Pasta on September 17th, Smoked Sausage Pasta on September 19th and Chicken Dippers on September 24th. So lots of opportunities to taste some new recipes and get some ideas for quick ‘n’ easy meals for your family.

Thanks! I pinned it. I'm looking for more things to do with chicken since it's a versatile meat. 🙂
I've only been to Sam's club a few times so I never really shopped for much food wise but have to check this out! We only buy organic – I didn't see a lot of organic there 🙁
I love shortcuts! I just don't have the time anymore to make dinner from scratch. Most of the time it tastes just as good.
