Monogrammed Glass Container

Supplies

4” or 5” square glass container (you can purchase these at craft stores)
Sticker Paper, Printable Vinyl, Vinyl or Cardstock
Transfer Paper/Tape or Two-Way Tape
Sharpie Metallic Oil Paint Pens
Glitter Paint (optional)

Instructions

1. Clean the outside of the glass container with isopropyl alcohol to remove any oils and dirt.

2. Print out your monogram on sticker paper, printable vinyl or cardstock (I use a fancy font in Word; you can find free monogram fonts to download online). If you have a die-cutting machine, such as a Silhouette or Cricut, you can use colored vinyl for this. Cut out the inside of the monogram so you have a stencil leftover of the initials.   Using transfer paper, attach that to one side of the glass and make sure the edges are all secured to the glass.   If you’re using cardstock, attach it to the glass with two-way tape.

3. Using the paint pens, color in your monogram however you’d like. I chose to do my last initial in silver, and the first and middle initials in gold.

4. After a few minutes, lift the stencil off the jar and touch up any edges with the paint pens, if needed.

5. You also can lightly apply some glitter paint over one or all of the initials.
