New Scotch Expressions Tapes for Projects and Giveaway

I’m excited to share that Scotch Brand has introduced a new line of Expressions Tapes just in time for school and holiday seasons!

I decided to use the Scotch Expressions Silver Washi Tape and one of the patterned Masking Tapes to take a plain trash can and match it to the colors we chose for our guest room.

I got this plain trash can at Lowe’s for under $5.  I chose it specifically because it already had an embossed square pattern on it.  Since this was my first ‘tape’ project I thought I’d take it easy on myself and not try to do any fancy chevron patterns or renaissance artist renditions.

I simply cut the Scotch Expressions Washi Tape to fit on some of the raised squares.  Then I cut the Scotch Expressions Masking tape into two different pattern blocks and applied those to the rest.  Very simple yet it had a huge effect on the looks of the waste basket.

I think it fits in pretty well with the comforter and sheets I purchased.

Of course now that I’ve come to see what I can do with Scotch Expressions Tape I’ve been spending way too much time on Pinterest getting ideas for new projects.  I have one forming in my mind already for Christmas and I can’t wait to show it to you if it turns out.
