If you’re a regular reader of my blog you’ll know that I’m all about tasty but simple meals.  I want things to taste like I’ve slaved all day in the kitchen, but i don’t want to be all day in the kitchen.  So I often use some packaged products along with some fresh products to accomplish that.  Kraft Recipe Makers are exactly the kind of “help” I’m looking for to take dinner to the next level and using them cuts dinner prep to an amount of time I’m comfortable with.

I love the variety of flavors (9 in all) that they come in and the fact that you combine the included sauces with fresh meats and produce to put a satisfying meal on the table for your family.

I bought the Three Cheese Chicken Florentine (note Kraft Recipe Makers are available at Safeway and their affiliate stores, our local store is a Tom Thumb.  They can be found with other meal starter products in the grocery aisles, but you also might find them near the fresh meat coolers).  With this kit you add pasta, chicken, spinach and mozzarella cheese to the included Creamy Three Cheese Baking Sauce and the Garlic Tomato Simmer Sauce.

My dear husband does not compute that in order to make Three Cheese Chicken Florentine one MUST add spinach or it’s just…Three Cheese Chicken…which half of the pan do you think was his?

Regardless (with spinach and without) it was delectable.

It makes a 9″x13″ pan that serves 6, and between the 3 of us we probably ate 5 servings of it as what was left made for pretty skimpy leftovers!

A bonus to Kraft Recipe Makers is that inside the box are 2 other ways that you can use the packaged sauces with full recipes included.  So next time I can save the spinach and make shrimp with creamy tomato sauce instead!  Also you can choose from a variety of prep methods, including in a slow cooker, skillet or oven.

Have you tried any of the flavors yet?  If you have share with us in the comments which one(s) and what you thought of it.
