As you can tell by most of the food products I review and recipes I make, we’re not obsessively concerned with fat and calories around our home. But quite honestly you can only eat that way so much, and I know I need to add more healthy recipes to my menu planning.
TurboCharged Recipes by sibling authors Dian Griesel, Ph.D. and Tom Griesel, is separated into categories which feature chapters with; beverages, dressings & dips, appetizers, soups & stews, salads, vegetarian, eggs, fish, meats, poultry and desserts.
Carrot Coins from TurboCharged Recipes
Most of the recipes are pretty easy to make and a lot of the ingredients are not obscure or hard to find in your local stores either. There are no pictures, but that’s never a selling point for me personally in a cookbook. TurboCharged Recipes really focuses on the flavoring that the natural foods provide, and minimally on added ingredients like salt. I do like the fact that a lot of the recipes only use a few ingredients too.
Fast Buttered Fish from TurboCharged Recipes
On the pages throughout the book you’ll find “TurboTips”. These will help you understand food a little better, provide some “food for thought” (lol, excuse the pun!), and are just plain interesting.
These highly nutritious recipes will keep your metabolism revving and your excess fat burning off as your energy needs are fulfilled the TurboCharged way-keeping you lean and feeling great.
This is another cookbook that will stay on my shelf, I’ve made a number of recipes from it already, including the photos you see in this post.
You can purchase TurboCharged Recipes online for a retail price of $24.95.
