I can’t believe that summer is winding down and we’re once again planning for our daughter to leave home and go back to college. Unlike last year where she had a meal plan as part of her dorm residency, this year she’s sharing an apartment with friends and will be responsible for buying her own groceries. College is pricey y’all and students don’t have a lot of money, so when I heard that Albertsons and their banner stores (including Shaw, Safeway, Vons and more!) are celebrating their 76th Anniversary with a HUGE sale (7/29-8/11). I brought my daughter with me to the grocery store to show her prices that scream “STOCK UP” on the things she’s going to buy anyway. There are savings all over the store. From the meat department to Pepsi and PepsiCo products. You’ll find the anniversary sale items in so many different aisles. For those of you who don’t know, our daughter is a sophomore studying toward an Arts & Technology degree majoring in Video Game Design. Did you know that gamers are fueled by Mountain Dew? It’s true! 😉Four Pepsi/Pepsi Product 12-packs for $10!!! Just $2.50 a pack! She was all over that deal.At the behest of the parental unit some Lipton Tea for just $2.99 for the 12-pack was also picked up for hydration purposes 🙂 I think she should switch out the Mountain Dew on occasion, you know?!The girls are excited to make communal meals together and Amber has been practicing making some new recipes at home this summer. When I told her that the $1.49/lb for the boneless skinless chicken breast was a heck of a deal, after putting it in the cart she was on her phone looking up chicken recipes! After we got everything we needed from Albertsons huge anniversary sale, she asked for the receipt so she could see how much we saved. It gave me an idea to show her how to set up a price book to take to the store with her when she’s on her own, so she knows when products are a good price to stock up on.Albertsons is your go to grocer. You can shop the HUGE Anniversary sale and and save more on everything your family loves, from snacks and drinks to cookout classics! 7/29-8/11. I’d love to hear how your family will stock up!

Good job. I was worried she was going to live on ramen and poptarts.
Ha ha ha! For a while there so did we 😉
I love how she is wearing her “Do the Dew” shirt to stock up on Mountain Dew! #client
