From strawberries to raspberries, berry season makes spring entertaining simple and fun, as families come together to enjoy a healthy snack. Honey Bunches of Oats wants to bring your family together this berry season with their new recipe, “Cinnamon Breakfast Squares with Yogurt and Berries.”
This original recipe features New Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy Cinnamon Crunch, giving it an extra boost of protein, fiber and whole grain.
The added trifecta of nutrition helps to deliver a healthy breakfast option the whole family will love. The cinnamon breakfast squares, made with the cereal, are perfect for topping with Greek yogurt and freshly picked berries for an even greater boost of protein to keep the whole family full. The fresh berries are packed with vitamins and antioxidants and are a great way to step into summer!
I made mine in a round cake pan rather than a square pan, and because I didn’t make sure I had all the ingredients before I made it (I know epic fail!), I substituted the baking powder and milk in the recipe for 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/4 cup of milk and 3.5 oz of strawberry yogurt. And it was all good ๐

I just love Honey bunches of oats cereal, but I never thought about putting it in a cake and having it like this. I like the recipe and the cake looks so delicious. I will have to try and make this!
I'm glad it turned out. I do that too – cook things before checking to see if I have everything. At least it still worked in your favor for the photo ๐

Honey Bunches of Oats is one of my favorite cereals. This post reminds me of a bit Jim Gaffigan did about eating cake for breakfast, "You can't eat CAKE for breakfast! You'll have fried cake with syrup on it." This cake looks much more healthy though :).

I sure like the sounds of that cereal on its own, and I definitely like what I see you did with it! But shame, shame on not checking ingredients beforehand. ๐
