Are you disappointed with the inability to actually try new technology before you buy it? Well you’re not alone. A new study by Intel and Toluna says that 79% of Americans are excited about the chance to learn and try out new tech, but half of them are frustrated by the lack of access to them beyond what they read or see in the media.
That’s why The Intel Experience, at select Best Buy stores (50 of them in major markets nation wide), is now welcoming consumers to enjoy hands on activities with their products.
It features the power of technology with hands-on activities like 3D printing and virtual reality games, and allows the opportunity to see, touch, and play with exciting new Intel technologies.
Intel fits into your everyday activities as you use devices such as tablets and laptops, but the approximately 240 square feet Intel Technology Experience areas inside the Best Buy stores will show customers the power of Intel.
Check out these cool experiences that we found at The Intel Experience in Dallas:
• Build and print your own 3D robot
• Show off your racing skills on Mars in an augmented reality world
• Master beats and remix tracks by Ne-Yo as a digital DJ
• Check out the latest PC and tablet devices powered by Intel processors.
The immersive experience brings the technology front and center so you can enjoy and hopefully be inspired by what you get to touch and see.
The area will be staffed by specially trained Best Buy Blue Shirts to answer questions and help customers make the most of each area within the experience. Each season, Intel will refresh the venues with a new array of technology experiences.
As holiday shopping kicks off, technology reigns supreme, and visiting the Intel Technology experience is a fun way to explore gift giving ideas! For more information, including a list of stores, visit www.bestbuy.com/intel.
They have this at my local store and it sure has been helpful!
This is so cool! I would so love to build my own robot LOL!
So funny that they set up the exact same experience at stores across the nation. It looked just the same at the store near me. That augmented reality bit was pretty cool!

That is totally awesome. I'm going to see if my store has one.
