Since we homeschool, we’re responsible for all our curriculum and the things needed to educate our daughter (on top of paying our school taxes to the district!). This means that over the years we’ve purchased items and services that haven’t worked for us, and some that we’d recommend from the roof top for other families to use as well.

One of the biggest things we use in our school room is technology. Amber does much of her school work through DVDs, online programs, and of course I keep track of everything using software, and print out reports constantly to have on file. We’ve been loyal HP printer owners for over 20 years. We’ve owned 3 or 4 HP printers, and they’ve always preformed well, we’ve only upgraded because we wanted extra bells and whistles, not because they broke down or failed us.

When it’s time to go shopping for back-to-school it’s a first stop, and for more than just pencils and paper we head to Walmart. HP has a variety of technology products that are sure to have any student prepared for a new school year, and you can find some of the HP products at Walmart this back to school season.

Check out this video (under 5 minutes to watch ) where I tell you about some of the products HP is featuring at Walmart stores nationwide.

If you’re interested in learning more you can visit the links at Walmart.com for all the features and specs of these items.

HP Pavilion dv6-7029wm Entertainment PC – This HP Entertainment PC will have students hooked up with all the specs and graphics they need to get their homework and projects done, then after hours it can handle movie watching, music playing and gaming without a hiccup! It runs Windows 7 Home Premium but with all the talk of the upcoming Windows 8, potential owners will be pleased to know that it’s upgradable to the Windows 8 Pro as well.

HP Deskjet 3052a e-All-in-One printer – A must have for students in higher grades is to have a printer that doesn’t just print, but can print wirelessly, and can scan and copy as well. Add to that the option to print remotely, and you almost have a print shop in your home office or dorm room! At under $70 this HP Deskjet printer is a bargain and a perfect fit for high school or college students.

HP XL ink cartridges – I love the extra large size so I’m not constantly replacing the cartridges! By buying the XL sizes you can save up to 40% in ink costs. Buying the HP cartridges allows you to get the most out of your HP printer. They are tested to work, and provide you with the most value. High school and college cost enough as it is, save where you can without sacrificing quality.

I received compensation as part of a promotional program with MomSelect, in addition to that the video embedded above makes me eligible to win a prize package of HP products.  As always, opinions are my own and are not influenced by content and/or value provided by networks or brands.

These are just a few of the items that HP offers at Walmart! One of my readers will win a $25 Walmart gift card to pick up some back to school items of their own, and when you’re at Walmart be sure to check out all the HP selections in the electronics department.
