Before we started homeschooling I really wondered if we could do it. It hasn’t always been easy, there have been plenty of days where we all have been ready to throw in the towel. But we’ve persevered through those challenges and we know coming out the other side that this journey has been worth it for our family.

If you’ve ever had the thought of homeschooling you’ll want to read, “You Can Do It Too! – 25 Homeschool Families Share Their Story” compiled by Lorilee Lippincott, to give you many different families’ perspectives on homeschooling. This book gives you a glimpse of homeschooling from all shapes and sizes of families. Lots of children, a couple of children, homeschool graduates schooling their own children now, to those that went to public school. You will read about how families homeschool on a budget, incorporate faith into their lessons, what concerns they had starting out and what their typical school day looks like.

Set up in an interview format, by the time you finish with each author you’ll feel like you’ve gotten to know them a bit, and then you can continue on to their blogs if you want to read more about them!

Whether you’re just thinking of homeschooling or are a veteran of a number of years, you’ll pick up tricks for planning and and how to keep your sanity!

I’m passionate about homeschooling and highly recommend this book, plus you will find a lot of new blogs from it to read too!

I received a media sample of this book so I could share my thoughts about it with you. All opinions are my own.
