The theme of the video says it all, the success of our kids is only partly based on talent and practice, it’s also based on sacrifice, and a lot of times that sacrifice is made by moms.  So with the summer Olympics on our heels, P&G is partnering with Lolo Jones, world champion hurdler and US Olympic hopeful, and are donating $25,000 on behalf of Family Dollar to the P&G Team USA Youth Sports Fund.

Jones’ single mother often held down two jobs to support the family of six, and she attributes her success to the support of her mom and community in addition to hard work and determination.  The Jones family shopped at Family Dollar taking advantage of the great values on P&G products to stretch the paycheck a bit further.
