Long car trips are frequent on our travel itineraries. Living seven hours from family necessitates a few of them a year. And to help stay awake on the flat, straight, non-scenic stretch of pavement between South Dakota and Canada, many snacks are consumed.
I was introduced to Enjoy Life’s not nuts! nut free trail mixes last year. What a great snack for a road trip. It’s not just nut free though, it’s gluten free and free of the eight most common allergens. It’s also made without casein, potato, sesame and sulfites.
Ah I can hear many muttering under their breath, “with all those missing ingredients it tastes like packing peanuts I bet.” Untrue! Both varieties; mountain mambo and beach bash taste very good.
Mountain mambo has sunflower kernels, pumpkin seeds, raisins, apples, chocolate chips and cranberries.
Beach bash has sunflower kernels, pineapple, pumpkin seeds, cranberries and apricots.
I liked the complimentary tastes of the cranberry and chocolate in the mountain mambo. Beach bash lives up to its name – it’s very tropical tasting!
Not nuts! nut free trail mixes come in resealable pouches, which make them easy to take on the go.
So if you need some on the go snacks for traveling, school, or sports games, Enjoy Life Foods has you taken care of. Even more so if you’re allergen conscious or are needing nut free or gluten free foods.

I have not heard of this trail mix, but it looks wonderful. My son has some tree nut allergies, so this trail mix would be perfect for him to try. This would be great to keep in the car for long trips or for school snacks.
I love nuts but they don't love me. I am happy to read of a trail mix that does not include nuts. Thank you.
i have never heard of this product, but will be on the lookout now. my mom and sister and i take a road trip each year and always take snacks. my mom cant eat nuts, so this would be perfect!
I haven't ever heard of this trail mix. Sounds really nutritious!
