Wine lovers, unite and discover the newest wine from The Divining Rod their Pinot Noir. If you don’t know now what Pinot Noir is your favorite, you will after trying a glass of this.
The Diving Rod 2014 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is balanced and complex. It opens with earthy aromas of dried herbs and cranberry, and is complemented by lighter notes of black cherry fruit, cinnamon and clove. A medium-mouthfeel, with fine tannins and bright acidity harmonize within a delicate framework. The vibrant fruit flavors seamlessly surrender to a lingering finish… a divinely intellectual wine.
About Marc Mondavi, Winemaker & Water Witch
“From water, comes wine” – never has this been truer than with The Divining Rod wines. By giving life to countless vineyards across California, Marc Mondavi quite literally “turns water into wine.” He possesses the grape growing and winemaking skills and knowledge that come from growing up in the Napa Valley, as a key member of America’s foremost wine family. But Marc’s “sixth sense” for water divining (also called water witching or dowsing) and connection with the land, put him on another level of winemaking. That’s why we say that his Divining Rod wines are more than natural, they’re supernatural.
Marc Mondavi and The Divining Rod also has a consumer sweepstakes going on.
The Divining Rod Adventure Sweepstakes is for a trip for two to one of Marc’s favorite Montana fishing spots. The sweepstakes offers a three day, two night stay, round trip airfare, gourmet meals, wine education, and the adventures of choice including hiking, running, walking, fishing, kayaking, or golfing. We will take entries until June 30, 2016.
