Cheesy Shepherd’s Pie

Just in time for Pi Day, I’m sharing this easy to make Cheesy Shepherd’s Pie altered from eMeals Costco Plan.  I shared another inspired recipe from that plan the other day, Lemon Herb French Style Green Beans.

Cheesy Shepherd’s Pie

 

24 oz. prepared mashed potatoes
10 oz. can condensed Cream of Celery soup
1 lb. lean ground beef, cooked with seasonings of choice to taste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
8 oz. package shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
16 oz. package frozen peas and diced carrots

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix ½ can soup into potatoes.

3. In a separate bowl, stir together cooked beef, Worcestershire sauce, shredded Cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Add peas and carrots to beef mixture along with remaining soup.

4. Transfer meat mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.  Top with mashed potatoes. Bake 45 minutes or until edges of the mashed potatoes start turning brown.
