Celebrity Skin Care Routines That Cost More Than Your Rent

Celebrities don’t just wake up looking red-carpet ready. They pay for it — and I mean really pay for it. While we’re over here coupon-clipping for drugstore moisturizer, A-listers are casually dropping thousands of dollars to keep their skin camera-ready. Some of their treatments are genius, some are bizarre, and all of them will make your bank account cry.

Here are eight celebrity skin care routines that cost more than your monthly bills combined.

1. Hailey Bieber – $1,000 Facials

Your facial: steam, scrub, and moisturizer. Hailey’s facial: light therapy, exfoliation, and technology that sounds like it came from NASA. It costs $1,000 a session. For that price, I’d expect the facialist to also fold my laundry.

2. Kim Kardashian – The Vampire Facial

Nothing says “glamorous” like injecting your own blood back into your face. Kim swears by it, and it costs around $1,500 each time. Personally, I’ll stick with a sheet mask.

3. Jennifer Aniston – LED Light Beds

Jennifer literally lies down in a glowing bed to boost collagen. Each session costs hundreds. You know what else lights up for free? The sun.

4. Victoria Beckham – Placenta Facials

Victoria loves sheep placenta facials. They run $500 to $1,200, which is about the cost of a weekend getaway — without the placenta.

5. Cate Blanchett – Bird Droppings Facial

Cate has tried facials made with nightingale droppings. At $650 a pop, I’m suddenly questioning every pigeon I’ve ever side-stepped on the sidewalk.

6. Madonna – $600 Face Cream

Madonna is loyal to Crème de la Mer, which costs $600 a jar. For that price, I’d like it to moisturize, tone, and pay off my student loans.

7. Gwyneth Paltrow – The Goop Way

Gwyneth’s routine includes $200 face oils and $500 exfoliators. If you’ve ever wondered what a $500 scrub does differently, apparently the answer is: nothing you can afford to find out.

8. Oprah Winfrey – $1,200 Celebrity Dermatologists

Oprah doesn’t just get facials. She gets Oprah facials. Celebrity dermatologists charge her $1,200 per appointment, which is what some people spend on an entire year of skincare.

Reality Check

Sure, it’s fun to dream about bird-poop facials and $1,200 glow-ups, but here’s the truth: your skin doesn’t need a celebrity-sized budget to stay healthy. Consistency, sunscreen, and decent products go a long way. Still, it’s nice to know what’s out there — even if “what’s out there” is completely out of reach.
