Celebrate 140 Years with Vaseline Petroleum Jelly!

Did you know that Vaseline Petroleum Jelly is celebrating its 140th-year anniversary?  Since 1870, Vaseline Petroleum Jelly has become a staple in homes across the world.

VPJ is a really versatile product (used for beauty, baby, medicinal, athletic needs and more).  It also provides visible relief from dry skin when used regularly.  Their newest addition, Rich Conditioning Cocoa Butter, is 100% pure petroleum jelly and keeps skin healthy and glowing all day long.

Vaseline is my go to product when I need to have a barrier on my skin, to keep bacteria and infection out.  It is really seems to help with rashes.  I also have used it for my psoriasis and it seems to help that as well.   And another use…removing make up, it’s so easy to take off with VPJ, and very affordable compared to most make-up removers.

I love the new flip top lids, I was never a fan of the big twist off lids on VPJ.  The NEW Rich Conditioning Cocoa Butter, is good for lip care.  I like that you don’t need a lot and it moisturizes for a long time.  I know some people think VPJ is really oily, but I found that the Cocoa Butter variety didn’t stay oily long on my lips, but then that might be because I live in a place that’s pretty cold .  It also adds a bit of shine to those who like a glossy look.

To commemorate the 140 years, they’re celebrating their new flip cap packaging and the NEW Rich Conditioning Cocoa Butter variety by launching the official Vaseline Facebook page and sharing some of their favorite unique and inventive ways to use VPJ, all while asking fans to share their uses for chances to win cool prizes.  Each week, they’ll be selecting a winner to receive a Limited Edition Swarovski Crystal Jar of VPJ (worth around $100) and a $500 gift card!

They will also be randomly selecting 5 winners, who take the extra time to submit a video, to win a Limited Edition Swarovski Crystal Jar set (worth around $750) & a $1,000 gift card!  You can check out that contest, along with other fun content including videos at www.facebook.com/vaseline .
