As many of you may already know HOP was released on Blu-ray and DVD March 23rd, just in time for Easter! This is a fun, family friendly movie. Perhaps it is because I’m getting older but the holidays just get more nostalgic as the years go by, and we had just so much fun watching this with our daughter.

If you didn’t get a chance to see Despicable Me in the theater this summer you missed a surprisingly good movie.  If you have a “cheap theater” in your city that has movies that are shown after they’ve made their run in the main theaters, and it’s playing, stop by, I don’t think you’ll regret it.  If it passed you buy, be sure to rent or buy the DVD. 

As with most movies, there are usually video games that take the theme and run with them appropriate to their platform, and Despicable Me has one too; Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem (D3Publisher).  The game is available for Nintendo DS, Wii, PS2, and PSP.

The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks is a story written by John Bittleston that tells the adventure of two brave water rats that travel the world and now your kids can play with them in their virtual world.
