Buzz and Woody are Going on a Cruise

by hykuI spend far too much time aimlessly surfing the web each day.  I admit it.  But that’s where I get most of my entertainment news, I’m not sure entirely if that’s a good or bad thing.  In any case I came across some fun information today about Buzz and Woody going on a cruise.

Well not really Buzz and Woody – but really Tim Allen and Tom Hanks – well not really them either.  See Disney signed them up to do a live-action movie based upon the ‘Jungle Cruise’ ride in the Disney Parks.  How fun does that sound?!

I love the Jungle Cruise ride at Disney World – getting to see the ‘sights’ that one might potentially see if you really traveled down several major rivers of Asia, Africa and South America.  It’s probably the closest thing I’ll ever get to a Nile cruise in my lifetime!

There’s not a lot of info out about the movie right now,  all I could find out about it is that Tom Hanks will be the ‘tourist’ and Tim Allen will be the ‘skipper’ .  In any case I bet that it will have lots of action and adventure, much like the Pirates of Caribbean movie.  I bet Walt never anticipated these rides being made into major motion pictures!
