I like a really good cup of coffee, and so when I was asked to review these new K-cups, I was excited to try these ‘gourmet-at-home’ blends.  To me the best way to really get the flavor of a cup of coffee is in the evenings when we’re ready to relax as a family and watch some TV or a movie.  First thing in the morning, I need a coffee hit, but will admit that I sometimes use a ‘cheaper’ coffee for that as I’m not fully awake to enjoy it.  So I tried the full variety of the Barista Prima Coffeehouse K-Cups in the evenings when I could savor the taste of them.

Barista Prima Coffehouse K-cups are an exclusive collection of the world’s finest Arabica coffees roasted in the tradition of Europe’s most celebrated coffee houses.  They come in four delicious varieties; Columbia, House Blend, Italian Roast and French Roast.  The Italian Roast was by far my favorite, it is a strong, heavy, dark coffee but yet goes down smooth.

These would make a great stocking stuffer or gift for the gourmet coffee lover that you know that has a Keurig brewer.  Better yet if you know a coffee lover that doesn’t own a Keurig, get them one, and then a stash of these Barista Prima Coffehouse K-Cup portion packs, so they can use it right away on Christmas morning!
