Yep, that’s right I’m a closet gamer and World of Warcraft is my guilty pleasure.  Thursday and Sunday evenings are raid night in our home and I can’t afford to have lag when playing, or my character will be dead on the floor and my guild won’t be happy with me.

I’ve been on the lookout for a new laptop since mine in computer years is ancient, but it needs to be a workhorse when it comes to gaming and the new AMD FX APU – HP Envy Touchsmart Laptop exclusively at Best Buy, seems to fit the bill.

While gaming is certainly a fun part of my week, I need my laptop to do double duty. The HP Envy TouchSmart laptop’s 15.6” touch screen laptop and quick AMD FX series processor would allow me to switch between e-mails, my blog, my music player and documents effortlessly, letting me multitask so that I can get on to my gaming quicker 😉  …As long as I stay off Facebook that is!

The unbelievable PC performance would let me edit large sized photos and video without hiccups, Skype with my parents in Canada fluidly and stream my favorite TV shows without that constant “buffering” that I get on my current laptop.  It truly would be an exceptional work, gaming and entertainment experience.

Taking it on the go won’t require I learn to lift weights either since it only weighs 6.1 lbs. and measures 1.2″ thin.  The backlit keyboard means I can work or play in dim or dark locations also 😉  Since insomnia and I are good friends, that’s a little feature that I’m pretty excited about.

I think I need to leave some hints out for my husband and daughter …Mother’s Day is coming up after all 🙂
