I try to find an oil based moisturize to give my skin an extra barrier for the winter months.
At bedtime I use an healing ointment on my hands and also I always use moisturizer on my face after shower.
I use baby oil to moisturize my skin in the winter.
I put valasine on my lips at bed time, I get really chapped lips in the winter.
I moisturize more and use lots of lip balm.
The two things I try to increase doing during the cold (and dry) winter months are use more moisturizer and drink more water.

I use plenty of moisturizer and protect my skin from the cold weather by wearing gloves and scarves.
I always wear a balm on my lips when I go out to prevent from chapping.

I try to make sure I moisturize my skin often. The winter months make my skin extremely dry so I try to drink more water and I lotion my skin numerous times throughout the day.

I am a very simple person. I stay out of the cold windy weather. I do not rub my skin dry, I pat and let the water soak into my skin.. On my body, before applying any lotions I usually do it as soon as I get out of shower while still wet. That way I do not pull and tug at the skin and it seems to help my body absorb the lotions quicker and faster and more evenly.
