Here’s another sneak peek at a recipe from Everyday Confetti, the book I’ll be reviewing early next week. This is a perfect one for a family gathering because not only does it feed a crowd, it can be prepared ahead.
Slightly reminiscent of a Dairy Queen ice cream cake, the taste difference won’t matter so much when you factor in the price difference. For the same size cake you’d pay approximately $29.00 or so at Dairy Queen. This Cookies ‘n’ Cream Ice Cream Cake only took me 30 minutes to make and cost me just $7.48. Sure Dairy Queen’s good…but this…it’s pretty tasty too and a lot more wallet friendly.

What flavor of ice cream would you use in this cake to mix it up?
