I know I know some parts of the country are already getting snow, so embracing fall with a picnic sounds like a big joke.  But you can have a picnic indoors too!  Check out these tips on how to host the perfect picnic.

We’ve had great fall weather here in North Texas and had decided to have a picnic today in the park but woke up to this:

Although we desperately needed the rain we were a little sad.  We wanted to make the most of the day both my husband and daughter had off from work and school though, so we set up our picnic in the living room instead!

DOLE Fruit in Gels are great for snacking on-the-go and are shelf stable, making them the perfect treat to pack for school lunches, picnics or a day in the park.  Available in five refreshing flavors, all 100 calories or less per serving, there is a flavor for everyone!  Dole also carries two varieties with Sugar Free Gel.  What’s more, DOLE Fruit in Gels are rich in Vitamin C, are GMO* free and have BPA free packaging.

Unlike gelatin, which is made with animal by-products, DOLE Fruit in Gels are made with a plant-based extract called carrageenan.  Since it is plant-based, carrageenan is vegan and vegetarian-friendly, too!

DOLE Fruit in Gels are available in the canned fruit section at select grocery retailers and online.

Suggested retail price for DOLE Fruit in Gels are $2.79/per package of four (prices may vary depending on geographic location and retail outlet).  For more information on DOLE Fruit in Gels, visit www.dole.com.
