I teased you a few days ago about the Good Cook Kitchen Drawer Sweepstakes. It starts on June 2nd. If you enter you’ll have a chance to either choose 15 Good Cook kitchen tools that you would like to have to make your ultimate kitchen drawer – look for the “Add Me” icon on participating products.
Or you can choose to win a pre-assembled drawer from one of the Good Cook Kitchen Experts. Plus the first five days of the contest (June 2-7) there will also be instant win prizes on Good Cook’s Facebook page. You can enter a new drawer every day for a chance to win! WHITE CHICKEN LASAGNA
serves 6
Ingredients
9 lasagna noodles
10 to 16 oz of chicken breast tenderloins (weight based on how meaty you would like it)
16 oz. jar of Alfredo Sauce
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Mix
1 tablespoon chopped basil
1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup of shredded paremsan cheese
Directions
Dice up chicken and cook until browned (about 10 minutes).
Cook lasagna noodles, drain and let cool.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is heating assemble the lasagna.
Mix in the Italian seasoning and the basil into the alfredo sauce.
Put just a little bit of the alfredo sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan and spread it across the entire bottom of the pan so the noodles don’t stick. Then place 3 noodles, 1/3 of the sauce, 1/2 of the chicken and 1/3 of the cheeses spread across the noodles in that order.
Repeat that layer a second time. Then the third time just layer the noodles with sauce and cheese. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
After 45 minutes, remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and browning. Let rest for five to ten minutes and then serve.
Don’t forget to enter to win your Good Kitchen Drawer!
YUMMY!!!! I will have to make that one day for sure! I love good cooking utensils. They are absolutely essential in my kitchen because I cook every day. Thanks for posting the recipe. BTW…I like your new profile pic!
Oh I love the looks of this because I'm not big on tomato which is in traditional lasagna.
You picked some great items for your kitchen drawers and that lasagna looks so delicious.
