I’m already looking forward to the dozens of Christmas cards that we’ll receive that will ‘deck our halls’. With the busy lives we all lead, sometimes that’s the only correspondence I get from friends and family far away. It’s so wonderful to see their children, hear what they’ve been up to and cherish the memories I have of all those people every time I look at the card.

Naturally we also send our cards, usually with a family picture, sometimes with just one of our daughter, but either way, it takes me hours (and that’s not a bad thing!) to find the one I want each year.
