Who is as excited as I am about the upcoming release of Liongate’s THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIREIt’s coming out THIS FRIDAY, November 22nd.  #TickTock it’s only 3 days away!  I’m a sad panda because I’m going to have to wait a bit to see it, since my parents are visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday, and are arriving on Thursday.  I haven’t seen them in over a year and it’s not the type of movie they’re really into.  But I digress… let’s talk more about #CatchingFire shall we?!

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark.  Winning means they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts.  Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmeringm but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

Past victors are forced to battle again in the 75th Annual Hunger Games – Panem’s 3rd Quarter Quell.  Check otu the FINAL trailer below and get your look at the inside of the Quarter Quell arena!

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik.  The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has over 50 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
