One of the things I’ve noticed when going through my blog analytics is that you all love Slow Cooker recipes. I had a few on the back burner that I have been wanting to make and they came out really well. So, I’m going to share them with you!
Today’s is one with just a bit of peeling & chopping prep. It makes a huge batch of soup that your family will want seconds of on a cold winter night.
Oh how I long for the lazy days of summer again. Even though we aren’t in the stage of a ‘traditional’ school year any more, it seems that our schedule and activities still follows one. I really thought that with sending our daughter to college and being empty nesters that we’d have more down time and relaxed meals. But between blog events, church activities and social gatherings, it seems that two or three nights a week minimum, I need to get a quick meal on the table before we head out the door.
My family and friends are posting pictures on Facebook of snow and and cold temps, and while it’s just beginning to feel like Fall here (ha ha you all!), I know a lot of you are in the same boat (or maybe I should say the same igloo?!).
