Summer (hopefully!) means hot days where you and your family need to cool down with cold drinks, and the perfect place to do that is SONIC because they are the Slush Headquarters.  With 28 innovative flavors – everyone will find something they enjoy, and you’ll keep wanting to go back so you can try them all!  This summer SONIC has introduced new Candy Slush and Master Blast flavors featuring candies such as Nerds Candy, Jolly Ranchers and popping candy, and I think they are delicious!

Beyond the Slush Headquarters official flavors, you can also mix and match flavors to create your own perfect combination.  SONIC guests can order any of the 28 Slush flavors complete with real candies mixed right in.  To take it up another notch, you can add Real Ice Cream for a smooth Real Ice Cream Slush.NBA All Star Kevin Durant is their brand ambassador who launched two signature slushes that have been added to their lineup. The All-Star™, made with blue raspberry and Nerds with rainbow candy, and The Game Changer, made with lemon, strawberries and Nerds with rainbow candy, make the second year of Slush Headquarters at SONIC extra special, (keep an eye out later this summer for another surprise flavor!).

The last time we went I had The Game Changer.  I enjoyed it so much!  I wanted to pour it into a clear cup to show you the full effect of the deliciousness SONIC puts into this slush 🙂The flavors are wonderful together, and the real lemon and strawberries in the drink give it a fresh, fruity taste.  The Nerds rainbow candy though, that puts it over the top!  It was so much fun to sip a few of those candies into my mouth with the slush drink and it really reminded me of being a kid again.  You can see how they are all throughout the drink.
