Pillsbury Bake-Off Recipes & $25 Walmart Gift Card Give Away

One of the things I love about food brand websites is all the recipes they have on them. Whether it’s something the brand kitchens have whipped up or a consumer submitted recipe, there is sure to be something my family likes, or recipes I can modify to our tastes using the brands products.

I’m sure many of you know about the Pillsbury Bake-Off contest. There are SO many talented people out there who have created recipes to enter into this prestigious competition. You can visit Bake-Off.com to have access to 100 new recipe creations from the Pillsbury Bake-Off finalists!

You name it they have it. So it doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a main dish, a dessert or an appetizer, you’ll find a recipe to suit the occasion you need it for.

So after I visited Bake-Off.com and checked everydaysaver.com/Walmart for coupons and offers, I took a trip to my local Walmart and scoped out the Pillsbury products to make one of the delicious recipes entered into the Pillsbury Bake-Off. The featured Pillsbury product in the recipe I made is the Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough.

Last night I whipped up the Caramelized Peach Upside-Down Coffee Cake – entered by Brenda Watts of Gaffney, South Carolina. I say this woman is GENIUS, because I didn’t have to alter any of the ingredients in this recipe (well I did leave out the pecans, but that’s because I forgot to buy them, not because my family wouldn’t eat them!) – and in my home, that’s almost unheard of!

Now my picture of this delicious (and I mean delicious) cake doesn’t look a thing like the Pillsbury website’s (this my friends is why I’m not a professional baker!)  Regardless – I did mention that the cake was delicious, right?!
