I love piano music and I love Christmas music, so not surprisingly I was incredibly impressed and really enjoyed my first listen through the album.  And then my second, third and subsequent replays 🙂 

The music is intricate, on point and has just a different feel to it than the other Christmas music of the same title songs. The album has music diversity despite the ever-present piano and string score and Christmas theme.  For instance “Little Drummer Boy,” “The Sweetest Gift,” and “Angels from the Realms of Glory,” are all vastly different, yet the versatility of the album as a whole works.

For me, my favorite songs are the tracks that are just instrumental, but the vocals are amazing as well, just check out this video of O Holy Holy Night / Ave Maria

The playing time of the album is 48 minutes, which is a great length to play in the background while eating Christmas dinner 😉
