New Kellogg’s FiberPlus Flavor! Giveaway

Losing weight and/or eating healthier has got to be #1 on the New Year’s Resolution chart.  Now I have no statistical information for this, but almost everyone I talk to, or read, has this on their list. 

I find it ironic that, at least in our part of the woods, it’s also the time the Girl Scouts sell cookies.  Evil I know.  (Disclosure here: my daughter is a Girl Scout and her troop does sell cookies.  I still think Girl Scout Cookies are evil. They’re small and tasty, and you buy them to support the kids, and all they do is give you empty calories and guilt.)

But here’s the good news for lovers of Samoas/Caramel deLites…Kellog’s FiberPlus’ new flavor is hitting stores this month, and it’s: Caramel Coconut Fudge (sound familiar?!).

While I enjoy the taste of the other varieties; Chocolate Chip, and Chocolatey Peanut Butter, and my husband loves the Dark Chocolate Almond, the Caramel Coconut Fudge has inched out as my favorite.

All of the flavors of the FiberPlus bars have 35% of your daily fiber plus antioxidants vitamin E and zinc.  Many people don’t get their daily amount of fiber, and that’s an important factor in weight loss, so FiberPlus bars are an easy and delicious way to fit fiber into your diet!

So forgo the cookies, (just give that Girl Scout $4 to add to the troop account, then everyone’s further ahead), and indulge in a FiberPlus Caramel Coconut Fudge bar.
