I have a very keen sense of smell.  And while others that also have that heightened sense of smell choose to use products that have no fragrance, I am all about the pretty and indulgent scents.  In my home I melt wax tarts and have air fresheners in every room, and my soaps and body washes are usually chosen on scent over anything else.  I’m the person who you don’t mind sitting next to on the airplane for a few hours 😉

I want to smell good all day, not just for two hours after I shower.  I want scent that clings to me.

I tried the Adore Forever first.  The scent is definitely feminine and the floral notes to me were strong.  While it still has a rich scent to it, it exudes more ‘freshness’ than the Love Forever scent does.  The body wash has a nice thick consistency and lathers up wonderfully.

Love Forever, I think has a slightly more sensual scent.  It has warmer, richer notes and slightly more potent in strength than the Adore Forever, I thought.   While they are both pretty scents, I do prefer the Love Forever to the Adore Forever.

But does it work?  Can you really still catch a whiff of the scent four, six or eight maybe even 10 hours later?  Well if you could have been in my home the days I ‘experimented’ you may have thought that there was something wrong with me, because every 45 minutes to an hour, I would touch or rub my skin and smell it!

I could smell the lingering scent long after most body washes would have faded away.  Naturally it’s stronger at pulse points and when you rub and create some friction than if you just lightly touch your skin.  But even when you aren’t oddly rubbing your own skin to smell yourself, the scent clings, and I wouldn’t say 12 hours was a stretch on the time frame either.

The only problem I see with it is…I keep wanting to smell myself.  And folks, that can start becoming awkward, but that won’t stop me from using it either.  So I guess I just have to remind myself not to scratch and sniff my arm when I’m in public.
