MI-DEL Cookies Giveaway

As loyal readers will know, we ♥ snacking around our place. So when MI-DEL asked us to do a review and giveaway of their cookies, it wasn’t tough to say yes. MI-DEL cookies are an all natural, gluten-free way to have a sweet treat.

At our local grocery store we had a choice of three varieties, Pecan Flavored Cookies, Arrowroot Cookies and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Since I don’t like to overwhelm the cashier’s with ‘free’ coupons when I check out, we chose to get only two right away and got the Arrowroot and Chocolate Chip.

They are every bit as good as they look, and we even used the Arrowroot cookies as “dippers” into gluten free yogurt, which was a fun way to eat them.

The only issue I had is that the bags are a bit difficult to open, and there is no ‘built in’ sealing mechanism to keep them fresh in the bag after opening. That led to eating a bit more than we should have since I did not put them in a container right away!

I’m definitely redeeming the last coupon I have for the Pecan Flavored variety and using it as a pie crust base for one of the fabulous recipes that MI-DEL has on their website.
