I love burgers. Mostly because I generally don’t have to make them . When we have burgers that’s my husband’s domain and he is the King of the Grill…or we go out for burgers. Either way, no cooking for me.
But with the latest Good Cook Kitchen Expert Event, they asked us “What can you stuff in a burger?” So the reins got thrown back to me for dinner as flipping, not creating, burgers is what King of the Grill does.
Good Cook sent us bloggers a stuffed burger kit, which included all the tools needed to make the best stuffed burger in town.
I was really wondering whether I could pull this off, but when I saw Good Cook’s Burger Stuffer, I thought I might actually be able to do this.
After having the Recipe Makers Three Cheese Chicken Florentine a few weeks ago, and absolutely loving it, I thought I’d make that into a burger.
So I put a beef patty in the bottom of the press. Used the ‘stuffed side’ of the Good Cook Stuffed Burger Press to make a pocket to put my fillings in.
Then I put some spinach, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese in it.
Placed another patty on top, and used the ‘press side’ to seal it all up.
I likely filled mine too much (I had that problem when I made my own Hot Pockets too as you might recall), as I originally had trouble getting the burger to ‘seal’ around the edges. I had to use my fingers to connect the two patties together after pressing, but the pressing made it a lot easier to do that.
Then I had to become “Queen of the Grill”, a Cast Iron Grill that is! I typically don’t cook with cast iron in my kitchen although I know people that use it swear by it. So this was interesting for me.
While my burger was cooking up, I used the Good Cook Mini Chef Knife and Flexible Cutting Mat to cut up some radishes to eat along side our burgers that evening.
Time to flip!
So before I reveal what my stuffed burger actually looked like, I just want to let you know that you can save 25% off coupon to goodcook.com for any of the Good Cook Burger Tools, I’ve featured in this post. Use CODE: BurgerLovers.
There isn’t so much a “recipe” to this burger. I eyeballed most of it (and apparently my eyeballs are huge!), so you may want to adjust the amounts of the ingredients as you see fit (and that fit between two burger patties!).

Three Cheese Florentine Stuffed Burger
Ingredients
2 beef patties (1/4 pound or less)
fresh spinach leaves
ricotta cheese
shredded parmesan cheese
shredded mozzarella cheese
Using the Good Cook Stuffed Burger Press, place one patty in the bottom of the press. Using the ‘stuffed’ side, make a pocket in the bottom patty. Tear up some spinach leaves and put inside the pocket, then add a spoonful of ricotta cheese. Top with shredded parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Place remaining beef patty on top and using the “press” side of the Burger Stuffer push down. Lift the clear siding from around the burger and remove from the Burger Press bottom plate. Grill either in a pan on the stove top or on your grill, keeping in mind that it’s stuffed…and may be a little messy .
My burger creation will be featured on goodcook.com and Facebook for users to vote on, starting September 3rd and going to the 17th (you can see the badge in my sidebar). The blogger who has the most votes will be voted the Best Stuffed Burger Winner.
Fans can vote up to 3 times within a 24hr period. Each vote qualifies to enter into the drawing to win 1 of 10 Good Cook Burger Stuffing Kit (like the products I received). So if you think I have a great stuffed burger – then vote for me starting September 3rd!

Totally scrumptious looking. I'm not a huge burger fan but I do love them stuffed with cheese!

Your burger looks delish…I am going to make it with some leftover chopped spinach I have in the frig, cream cheese cause I don't have any ricotta, parm and string cheese.
Thanks for sharing the recipe and helping me out with dinner!
I have numerous Good Cook products. I have very satisfied with most of them, totally disappointed with others. This one I saw and was afraid that it might not do what I thought. But after seeing this I would love to try it!
