I have to say I was not entirely on board with a fourth Jurassic Park movie. There are some movie franchises that just need to end. And I thought this was one of them. So when I hear murmurings and rumors about said sequel I moaned and groaned.
Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.
And then I heard Chris Pratt was going to be in it, so my interest peaked… a little.
And then I watched this trailer.
Alright, maybe just maybe this won’t be so bad. Ah who am I kidding? I’ll be going to see it 🙂 I think our family might have to have a movie marathon this month of the first three Jurassic installments just to relive the terror of being chased by velociraptors! Jurassic World opens June 12, 2015.
What do you think of the trailer? Are you going to go see Jurassic World in theaters? Be sure to check out the Jurassic World website too – it’s pretty neat!
