While we school year round – I know for many of you Back-to-School is right around the corner – boy the summer goes by fast!

JCPenney is getting geared up for Back-to-School.  The stores are starting to get in their clothing lines, and we had a chance to check out the Girls’ Junior section to see the brands and styles that JCPenney will be featuring in their “Mom Approved” Back-to-School Lookbook on their Facebook page starting August 10th.

The Juniors Department is full of graphic tees, hoodies, stylish denim and leggings, as well as casual and professional dresses.  Bright colors and demure prints are sure to please the styles of all types of teens and young ladies.

One of the things I appreciate about JCPenney is that I can find modest clothing for my teenager there.  She enjoys dressing in a comfy/casual mode most of the time and dislikes baring her midriff, showing miles of leg or having a skirt so short she can’t bend in it.  But we have no problems finding outfits that are still trendy AND modest for her to express her personality in, at JCPenney.

Check out all the outfits that she picked for “Back-to-School”:

If you’re interested in seeing more “Mom Approved” outfits from JCPenney for your teens visit JCPenney’s Facebook page starting August 10th.

Disclosure:  I was given a JCPenney gift card to take my daughter shopping to experience the new clothing that JCPenney is offering for Back-to-School nationwide.

  1. I am glad that J.C. Penney is doing this for teens! There certainly is nothing modest about most clothing out there at most stores. I am 32, and because of my size, get stuck (not that I am complaining) shopping in the junior department! Let's just say I have resorted to sewing skirts for myself because most items are not appropriate! Thank you for sharing, and thank you JCP for being old-fashioned! 🙂

  2. Love the outfits. I agree that the clothes for young ladies and even little girls these days are way too suggestive and down right indecent. I've always loved JC Penneys especially their in between sizes for those of us who are a little chunky. brennersmom
