I hope you all had a blessed Easter! My family and I went north to Canada for Easter Weekend. This is pretty much how it went.
– Meet with relatives and eat
– Attend church

(See a pattern there?! LOL!)
Regardless of the few extra pounds I need to lose and the 1,001 blog posts that now need to be written and caught up on…it was a really nice few days, catching up and seeing family, some of whom we haven’t seen for over three years.
Driving through North Dakota and Southern Manitoba was quite the event both there and back. The Red River has spread overland again, and for those land locked farming areas, it’s incredibly devastating. It’s amazing to look out from the highway and see nothing but water in either direction when you’re in a car instead of on the ocean!
Did your family do anything special for Easter? Share in the comments if you did (or didn’t for that matter!).
