And I’m off to the races! I suspect that there will be a lot of mint in my diet the next few days! But I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea (pun intended!). If you prefer a fruity taste to your drink, I don’t doubt that you’ll love these Fruit-Tea Smoothies that feature Pure Leaf Iced Tea.

You can choose to recreate this beverage with either Pure Leaf Iced Tea with Lemon, where the natural flavor of lemon mingles perfectly with the traditional taste of fresh-brewed black tea leaves (70 calories per serving but it is also available in diet which has 0 calories) or with the Unsweetened Iced Tea which is made from hand-selected black tea leaves that are freshly brewed in water until the drink achieves the perfect flavor (0 calories per serving). Either way this drink will keep you cool on a hot day!

FRUIT-TEA SMOOTHIES
Servings 4

16 ounces Pure Leaf Iced Tea with Lemon or Pure Leaf Unsweetened Iced Tea, chilled
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 cup fat free vanilla ice cream
1 tablespoon sugar

In blender, process all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately in tall glasses and garnish, if desired with fresh strawberries.
