Just before the year 2012 ended I shared about the eMeals Meal Planning site with you.  I’m going to be honest with you I pooh-poohed the idea of meal planning prior to this.  But seriously, it’s one of the BEST things I’ve instituted in my homemaking since I started.

My three month trial ran out and I liked the service so much I was going to renew my subscription at my own cost, and then it was so nice that at Blissdom I met a contact from eMeals and they invited me to be a part of their blogger program.  As part of this program I do get a free year of Meal Planning services from eMeals, but really I am truthful when I say – it’s a service I’d gladly pay for.

I currently am subscribed to the Classic Meal Plan that serves 3 to 4, and my family has enjoyed practically every meal I have made from their menus.  With a very picky eater in the home, the recipes included in the meal plan are worth the cost alone to me because he’s actually eaten and liked the meals I’ve prepared using them!

eMeals has just recently launched a Slow Cooker Meal Plan in both Classic and Clean Eating.  For those of you that are busy and always on the go, this might be a perfect option for you.  Not only does it provide slow cooker recipes to use (plus a shopping list to a store you choose from a list), it also repurposes some of the items you’ve made previously in the week to whip up a satisfying meal later.

If you’re the kind of person who is always wondering “What should I make for dinner?”, or goes to the grocery store and just haphazardly throw things in the cart – a meal planning service like eMeals is something you may want to look into.  It’s certainly streamlined my meal preparation for the week – it just may for you as well!
