Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 12

Inspired by California Farms Organic Sweetened Condensed Milk
Ingredients
  • 2 sticks of softened butter
  • 1¾ cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 6 Hershey Chocolate Bars
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Beat butter on low speed until creamy in a large mixing bow. Add and beat in sugar, flour and salt until the mixture becomes a crumble. Press 2 cups of the crumble mixture onto the bottom of the pan.
  3. Bake 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  4. Break up four of the chocolate bars. On low heat in a heavy saucepan, stir together the sweetened condensed milk and the broken Hershey Bars. Stir until you have a smooth mixture with all the chocolate melted. Add the vanilla and stir to combine. Spread the chocolate condensed mixture on top of the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the chocolate mixture. Break apart the remaining two chocolate bars and place randomly on top of the crumb mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until chocolate filling is set and the crumb topping is golden. Cool completely. Cut and serve once cooled. Cover and refrigerate any leftovers.
