I don’t know if you’ve seen any trailers or commercials for DreamWorks’ new picture being released on June 29th, “People Like Us’”, but it looks like it’s going to be a pretty good movie.
It’s a drama/comedy about a family, inspired by true events, starring Chris Pine (the “young” James Kirk from the new Star Trek) as Sam, a fast-talking sales guy whose latest deal collapses the same day he finds out his father has suddenly died. As he deals with the estate, he finds out that he has an older sister that he never knew about (Elizabeth Banks), and he’s tasked with delivering an inheritance to her.
