I love this kid.
And I can’t believe next year right about this time, I’ll be sending her off to college. But the process is starting already really, and at 17 ½ she’s writing scholarship essays, making appointments to visit with admissions deans and taking the campus tours.
She’s never been a girly girl, and while I admit that I missed the pink bows and tutus when she was little I have not at all missed the fuss that most teenage girls make about clothing, hair and makeup.
But then one day those pimples started showing up. You know those white heads that tweens/teens are kind of intrigued with and just want to pop!
That’s how these things go, you expect it, it’s puberty, it waxes and wanes with the hormones, except sometimes those pimples don’t go away, they just keep coming and coming faster than the poor kids can keep up with them.
Oh the irony when my daughter approached me saying that she needed help to cover up the zits on her face when we had to go get her State ID card picture, and then asked to go shopping (she hates shopping) to get something to clean her face with that would eradicate these pimples before she had to meet with the college execs…and of course her senior pictures.
So we went to Walmart and picked up Clearasil’s NEW! Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Cleansers.
And that evening she started a new skin care regimen using Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Wash, Scrub and Pads.
And this mama took pictures to prove that even this video game obsessed teen was interested in clear and healthy skin.
For a girl that is quite minimalist in her beauty regimen, Clearasil’s NEW! Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Cleansers is not at all overwhelming to use (Plus they are super affordable. We paid just $4.97 for each at Walmart and you can download and print a $1.00 off coupon to use at Walmart for any of the three products too!).
They are gentle enough to use every day, twice a day. They are formulated with sensorial Superfruit Extracts AND are gently medicated with 1% salicylic acid acne medication to help prevent blemishes.
We’ve tried other skin care lines before, and most of them she’s only lasted a few days doing because there was too much ‘work’ involved with soaps, creams, lotions and balms. So I’m glad to see that she’s been sticking it out with the Clearasil’s Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Cleansers.
And it’s been working too. That gives it ‘cred’ (or so I’m told by the teenager). All I care is she’s my girl, and she’s happy that she has one less thing to worry about with this whole college thing.
I probably should tell you that I ‘borrowed’ the Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Scrub.
Because though I’m closer to 40 then I am to 18, even I still get pimples. (I’m pretty sure it has something to do with ‘that time of life’ or the Taco Bell I ate the other day, but I’m going to chalk it up to the stress of sending my baby off to college next year, okay?!).
For the record, it worked for me too. And this thrifty gal is glad she dished out less than $15 for the whole kit and kaboodle, I like that, because using that scrub is way cheaper than a spa day.
So if you have some blemishes or acne, are looking for an affordable way to cleanse your facial skin and find yourself at Walmart, check out Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Cleansers by the skin care products (and remember to bring the $1.00 coupon with you).
Wow Tammy, she really did have a great improvement. She's adorable, by the way. I'm glad she could let go of the WOW for a few minutes and use the products. 🙂
UGH I wish I could get my son to wash his face I think he sees it as a girl thing. He definitely has some teen acne going on.
Great shots to prove the results. We'll be there for my kids in no time and despite being old enough for wrinkles, I'm still there too. stupid acne! might try it myself!
I'm a whitehead popper too. My breakouts probably won't go away until I hit menopause!
That's awesome! I am so going out and getting the cleanser and scrub!
I absolutely love your photos and am so happy your daughter found a solution that works well for her. I just turned 30 this year and still suffer from breakouts!
Wrinkles and zits are an unfair combination! I might have to get this for my teenage daughter and I to try.
At just over 30, I struggle with pimples and Clearasil is my go-to product! I love that it's budget friendly AND it gets rid of the pimply-face!
Your daughter has such a refreshing, sweet look! I'm glad she has found something that is both easy for her to use and affordable, too. My teens have used everything under the sun for their faces and Clearasil is still the best.
I'm so glad these worked for your daughter (and you, too, of course) because it's good for her to have one less thing to worry about.
Wow! This really did help. I will have to let my daughter know about this for my grandson. Your daughter looks just like you:)
I need to get this for my son. But getting him to actually use it is a different story.
Wow you can really tell it helped her skin.
I'm 10 and I get so many zits and stuff….. I might try it
