I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CaringBridge. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
As I look back upon the Thanksgiving holiday and perused the online sales on Friday, it still doesn’t cease to amaze me how very much my family has to be thankful for. We are healthy, have a roof over our heads, eat well, have vehicles to drive and even have the ability to go out and buy gifts for each other just to show we care. Extremely blessed is what we are. And so while we give to our church and charities all through the year, during the holiday season we make an effort to give even more where we can to organizations where their benefits touch many.
The nonprofit organization CaringBridge is kicking-off its WonderFull themed year-end giving campaign to raise $1.2 million.
CaringBridge was launched in 1997 so people–for any reason or length of time–could start a free website, remain connected to their family and friends and receive support when they need it most.
As a nonprofit, CaringBridge relies on donations to allow anyone facing a health journey the ability to rally support. Nearly 95 percent of all funding comes from people who use CaringBridge. The campaign features match contributions from three generous donors ranging from 10K to 25K.
My husband has cousins that live in North Dakota, but the extended family is spread out all across the United States and Canada. Plus his cousin was a pastor that had served in many churches in different locations, so over the years they made many friends all over the place. When his wife was battling cancer, CaringBridge was the most efficient and easiest way for Gordon to keep all their loved ones up to date with Diane’s progress, and for distant family and friends to leave encouraging support that their immediate family could access all in one place. CaringBridge really reflects its name, it connects people from one place to another and the bridge is built with words of care, hope and support.
Humankind excels at human kindness when it’s needed most. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation so that families like our cousins’ can always get the support they need. For more information, visit https://www.caringbridge.org/give.
