Marcal Small Steps Recycled Paper Products Giveaway

Well because of being gone, I missed posting some giveaways on Earth Day, but shouldn't we recognize the need for the way we change our habits to keep our environment clean just on more than one day?  If we take the time not just on one day, or one month, but on all days and all months think about the impact that we can make.  One of the ways you can do that is by using Marcal Small Steps products in your home.  If every home in the United States used a package of Marcal Small Steps instead of their regular brand, nearly one million trees could be saved!  Who knew?  Wait, if we would all switch out our napkins, paper towels and tissue as well, even more could be saved!  A family of four could save two trees a year if they switched to 100% recycled paper products.   Making this switch isn't hard on your pocket book either, Marcal  Small Steps typically sells for less than traditional paper goods that are made by cutting down trees and often contain dyes and fragrances that Marcal doesn’t use.

This isn't a new concept either,  Marcal has been helping families take a small step towards making a difference, since 1950.  They use paper collected from curbs in residential neighborhoods in cities and towns across America, you know things like those work memos, credit card offers and school newsletters you toss when you're done with them.  Ever wonder what happens to all that paper you put in the blue bin, well you just might be wiping your nose with it if you purchase Marcal tissues.  We have used Marcal products in our home and believe me you don't need 8-ply toilet paper, Marcal products do the job and they're a good price.   And changing the paper products in your home to 100% recycled ones is one of the easiest ways you can become more eco-friendly.

Help save another million trees by joining the Marcal Movement.  You will even get a coupon to get you started.  There is great information on their website, and you can find out the
latest news and ideas by following them on Twitter and liking them on Facebook.    On their Facebook page they have an April Marcalendar which has 30 great tips to help you in your quest to live greener.  I know, I know there are only 4 days left in April, but you can use the ideas for any day of any month!

Marcal Small Steps napkins are my favorite.  They are gentle enough to for wiping our messy faces and fingers, but are made strong enough to wipe up quick spills on the table too!  One thinks recycled paper products without dyes and chemicals would be rough, you know something like what you might find in a public restroom, but the Small Steps aren't.   Toilet paper I know is one of those personal things, everyone has their favorite brand.  Marcal Small Steps can stand up to the other brands, both in use and texture, and as stated before can not only save trees, but some cash as well.

I don't use a lot of paper towels, but the quilted design of the Marcal Small Steps is not only cute to have out on your counter but also absorbent.  I like that they are perforated to allow you to take either a half sheet or a full sheet, so often what I need them for, I don't need an entire sheet, this way the roll lasts longer and I'm not creating more unnecessary waste.  Like the napkins they are gentle enough to use to wipe hands and faces too.

One lucky reader will  win a month's supply of Marcal Small Steps paper products.
