Teeth Hurt? Crest Pro-Health Sensitive Shield Review & Giveaway

Crest is proud to introduce Crest® Pro-Health™ Sensitive Shield, the newest addition to the Crest Pro-Health family.  Crest Pro-Health is the ONLY leading toothpaste to protect against teeth sensitivity and all these other areas dentists check most: cavities, gingivitis, tartar, plaque, fresh breath, and whitening. Individuals struggling with sensitivity no longer have to spend their time and money using more than one toothpaste to get comprehensive oral health protection for their teeth and gums.

Crest has developed the Crest Pro-Health Sensitive Shield family of products to care for sensitive teeth and gums:

Crest Pro-Health Sensitive Shield Paste: Smoother than the original Pro-Health paste, Sensitive Shield contains Stannous Fluoride to protect teeth from sensitivity and to care for your healthy teeth and gums. Suggested retail price: $3.25 (6 oz.)

If you expect this toothpaste's "Sensitive Shield" to let you bite into that ice cream cone or take a sip of that steaming hot coffee, you won't be disappointed.  My husband who is a loyal Crest Pro-Health user says it tastes better than the original too.  He says it's also gentler on the gums than using a regular toothpaste. Another thing this toothpaste has going for it, is that it works well with electric toothbrushes, which not all toothpastes do.

Crest Glide Pro-Health Floss for Sensitive Gums: The softest Crest Glide floss is 2x softer vs. Glide Original and is designed to make flossing more comfortable for even the most sensitive gums. Suggested retail price: $2.99

This floss was a pleasant surprise to test.  It really is super soft, when you first pull it out, it feels like a soft ribbon between your fingers.  It doesn't shred either, not when you pull it out or when you floss your teeth.  My teeth are very close together, it is generally a tugging game to get the floss out from between the teeth, but the Crest Glide Pro-Health Floss for Sensitive Gums made it effortless.  My gums also bleed very easily when I floss and using this kept the bleeding very minimal.  The subtle mint flavor makes helps keep you mouth feeling fresh too.

Oral-B CrossAction® Gentle Clean Brush: Combines extra soft CrissCross® and Power Tip® bristles to remove up to 90 percent of plaque while still being gentle on gums. Suggested retail price: $2.99

I would think that this would clean your teeth as well as the other two products do, but I can't say from a personal point.  The brush I was sent had medium bristles and on the recommendation of my dentist I am to use soft (or even extra soft) bristles on my teeth.

One reader can win the Crest Pro-Health Sensitivity Prize Pack which includes: Crest Pro-Health Sensitive Shield Paste, Crest Glide Pro-Health Floss for Sensitive Gums, Two Oral-B CrossAction® Gentle Clean Brushes and Puffs To Go Tissues.

Ice cream hurts my teeth the most. I have veneers on my front teeth and ever since I got them, eating ice cream or even drinking something with ice in it makes them hurt.

For me it's ice cream cones that just drive me up the wall with aching teeth and a head ache due to the cold. I'd love to try this toothpaste and see how it works.
