UGLee Pen Review and Giveaway

UGLee Pen.  A pen by any other name would write just as well...or would it?  Actually I didn't find the UGLee Pen so much "ugly" looking, I thought it was more "futuristic" looking.

Interestingly enough, there is a proper way to hold a writing instrument when you put it to paper (or napkins or walls, depending on where you are, or what you are doing...).   This is especially true for children, as it takes years for the muscles that are used to write to do so efficiently.  It is also important to use an ergonomic pen or pencil if one has medical issues that cause the hands pain or to swell. I have Raynaud's which is an ailment that cause circulation to be diminished in my hands, if I write too much in one sitting my hands can become numb or painful.  Using a poorly designed writing instrument can exacerbate that immensely.

I have found the UGLee Pen to be comfortable writing with.  The very lightweight of it is deceptive.  When first picked up, you don't imagine it could be a quality product, but it certainly is.  I do like the smooth, bold ink, although on occasion it has "congealed" on the nib of the pen, leaving me with some small ink globs when I've been writing.  I just check it before I put the pen to paper, and if I think there is some extra ink on the tip, wipe it away with a tissue.

So what makes the UGLee Pen so special?  Well a number of things:

1. The Full Size Grip - This is so comfortable.  The shape and contours are designed to follow the anatomy of your hand.  You don't have to tightly grip this to hold on, it grips you.  This is really where the name UGLee Pen comes from, see Dr. Lee (a real physician) was on the search for the Ultimate Grip Pen (UGLee, get it?!).  His drive to create the ultimate comfort pen led him to go as far as to study the structure of the human hand using X-ray and researching the attachment and function of hand muscles to design the perfect grip.

2. The Weight - Weighing in at only 11 grams (which is less than 1/2 an ounce), the UGLee Pen is light.  Less mass = less inertia which = more comfort.

3. The Ink - This pen has the smoothest ink system known.  Smoother than a roller ball, gel, or fountain pen.

The UGLee Pen comes in seven different colors, red, pink, white, yellow, green, blue and gray.  The pens come with black ink cartridges.

A three pack of UGLee Pens, cost $19.95 + $3.95 shipping and handling.  If you buy multiple packages in the same color you only pay the shipping and handling charge once.  The ink refills are $15.00 + $2.95 shipping and handling for a 10 pack in your choice of red, blue or black.

Purchases can be made at UGLeePen.com, and they use Paypal to process your order.

What is great is that I have 2 UGLee Pens to giveaway to one reader!

I learned, "microbacterial foam products tend to leave my hands slippery. But, because of the the amazing texture of the grip, I get a firm hold of the pen." I am contantly using sanitizer and have a hard time gripping my pens too, if I am in a hurry.
